INSTRUCTION: SHOOTING, STICK HANDLING, DEKING, STRENGTH TRAINING, AND SKATING (WITH INLINE SKATES)
We create a custom workout lesson based on your request or student needs after accessing their stick handling, deking, shooting, and skating/ edge control (with inline skates). Athletes shoot and stick handle pucks and balls from their location. Players are taught techniques to maximize their shooting power and puck control. Our coaching and drills advance athletes shooting form, soft hands, listening skills and reinforce keeping their head up. Skating exercises are done in inline skates that consist of tight turns, ovals, figure 8’s, take offs, transitions, and stride techniques. Exercises without inline skates include sprints, plyometrics, high intensity interval training, and other strength and conditioning drills. Our drills are designed to improve players balance, strength, agility, and form. Drills are not copyrighted so athletes are encouraged to take them home and repeat over and over. Practice makes permanent.
